Since its a road trip, how about some highway music

So I logged onto Facebook the other day and a couple of my friends were discussing the Denver-LA series, so I was bored so I decided to be nosy and go on my boys page (Whats good Sha-liek and CJ) . Well this dude happens to be part of a upcoming crew of artists (Hiphop/Rap) that goes by the name of the Demevolist. So after minding other people's Facebook business I decided to check out the Demev blog. Everyone knows that when you take a road trip it's a must to have some tunes in the car, fortunately they have an artist that goes by the name B/A and he has a mixtape out called Highway Music, (My type of title) I had to check it out on the title alone. I didn't get a chance to listen to the whole album, but you can just follow the link at the end of the post and download it and check it out. The first song I heard off the mixtape is called Go Harlem!, I think its a tuff tune, maybe y'all should check it out.
P.S If you're not into hiphop don't knock it until you give it a chance, I was never into rock, but I know all the words to a couple songs in rock band(I was semi addicted for a couple of months lol) and on my page you might get introduced to songs and genres that you never heard of and might enjoy(huge fan of reggae, dancehall, calypso, and soca).

I think that's an Amish person driving, Yooo isn't that cheating?
How am I suppose to get in my car when it's covered in ice and the ice scrapper is in the truck (which is also layered with ice)?

From New York City to The North Country
Everytime I make the trip between home and School I have to go through about 7 hours of driving or 6.5 if your lucky(Wheter it's torture depends on the weather, passengers, and traffic). Its an interesting trip (7 hours is a long time to be driving and you can do some real good thinking durning that trip), especially starting from the bright lights in the big city, to no lights in the north country(LOL).
Basically once you pass Albany, NY civilization as I grew to know it pretty much ends. Thats not necessarly a bad thing as many may assume. The air is fresher, the scenery is better, most people are less stressed, and the feeling you get up here is just different. Sure being from the city, the convenience of going up the block to the bodega(corner store) to get your quick fix of snacks and drinks is out of the question, you have to look to your nearest gas station for that in the North Country. In upstate New York, you don't need to find some state park to sit down on some grass, in the city, most of the time you're met with a "Keep off grass" sign anytime you see grass. Honestly sometimes this whole area feels like your living in a huge park, complete with all the deer and skunks you want. When the weather is nice, its a great chill out place, mountain biking, hiking, swimming in the lakes, and in the mountains you see the log cabins that you see in movies. In the winter it's skiiing, snowboarding, and sledding season. Mountains of snow in temperatures that are well below Zero, but if your not afraid of change or the cold(and it gets pretty damn cold) and want to experience something different which you probably never experienced before or want ideas of where to place your vacation home, come and visit the North Country- it's pretty decent.
